Moonora LLC ("Moonora", "we", "us") runs the Moonora online shop. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it and what rights you have under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Moonora LLC is the controller of your personal data.

What we collect

• Contact details: name, delivery and billing address, phone number, email address.
• Payment information: handled directly by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Account and order information: login details, preferences, order history, returns.
• Communications: the messages you send to our customer service.
• Technical information: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To process, deliver and support your order, including returns and refunds (performance of a contract).
• To prevent fraud and keep our shop secure (legitimate interests).
• To meet our legal obligations, for example tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
• To send you marketing emails and show you personalised ads, for example through the Meta pixel, only where you have given your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with the service providers we need to run the shop: Shopify (e-commerce platform and payments), our delivery partners, our email and customer service tools, and advertising partners such as Meta where you have consented. Some of these providers are located outside the UK, including in the United States. When that happens, we rely on the safeguards provided by UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep order data for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes (up to 6 years), and marketing data until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy of it. Email contact@trymoonora.com. We will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We use essential cookies to make the shop work, and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
